Saying phrase "must" "have to" in Gujarati

To indicate that some action is mandatory we use “must”/“have to” phrase in English.

e.g. “He has to complete it today” ; “you must follow rules” etc.

In previous lesson we learnt how to use “should” in Gujarati.

Extending same concept we will learn how to say phrase "have to" in Gujarati.

In Gujarati sentence formation is :-

Form of subject with suffix એ(e)	object	Main verb + form of વો(vo) as per gender and multiplicity of object	form of  “પડવું" (paDavuM) as per object and tense
મારે   (mAre )	કેરી(kerI)	ખાવી (khAvI )	પડે છે (paDe Che)

In lesson for "should" we have seen form of pronouns with suffix એ(e) and form of વો(vo).

So let us jump directly to examples 

I must/have to eat mango  -> મારે કેરી ખાવી પડે છે (mAre kerI khAvI paDe Che)

I must/will have to eat mango  -> મારે કેરી ખાવી પડશે (mAre kerI khAvI paDashe)

You must/have to eat fruit -> તારે ફળ ખાવું પડે છે  (tAre phaL khAvuM joie )

You must/will have to eat fruit -> તારે ફળ ખાવું પડશે (tAre phaL khAvuM paDashe )

He must/had to sing -> એણે ગાવું પડ્યું  (eNe gAvuM paDyuM)

She must/had to dance -> તેણે નાચવું પડ્યું   (teNe nAchavuM paDyuM )

Kaushik must/will have to say a story -> કૌશિકે કથા કહેવી પડશે  (kaushike kathA kahevI paDashe)

Kaushik must/will have to go -> કૌશિકે જવું પડશે  (kaushike javuM paDashe)
