We have already seen numbers in Gujarati in these previous two lessons
Here we will see forms of verb like "first","second" etc. "single","double/both" etc.

Counting sequence
In Gujarati we have special words for sequence from 1 to 6. From 7 on wards form of મો (mo) is appended to number.

પહેલો   (pahelo  )
બીજો    (bIjo   )
ત્રીજો  (trIjo )
ચોથો   (chotho  )
પાંચમો  (pAMchamo )
છઠ્ઠો  (ChaThTho )
સાતમો  (sAtamo )
આઠમો  (AThamo )
નવમો   (navamo  )

As these are kind of adjective ending with ઓ(o) they will have forms as per gender and multiplicity as seen in lesson
like પહેલો-પહેલી-પહેલું-પહેલા-પહેલી-પહેલાં (pahelo-pahelI-paheluM-pahelA-pahelI-pahelAM) etc.
First boy -પહેલો છોકરો   (pahelo Chokaro  )

First girl -> પહેલી છોકરી  (pahelI ChokarI )
First year -> પહેલું વર્ષ  (paheluM varSh )

Also do not get confused between wordપહેલો(pahelo)  & પેલો(pelo).
પેલો(pelo) means "that(masculine)" So it is a pronoun. For other genders such pronouns are પેલી (pelI), પેલું (peluM).

Collective words
Masculine ->એકલો  ( ekalo)
Feminine ->એકલી (ekalI )
Neuter -> એકલું (ekaluM)
બંને (baMne)
Three persons
Four persons
Masculine -> ચાર જણ (chAr jaN)
Feminine -> ચાર જણીઓ (chAr jaNIo)
Five persons
Masculine -> પાંચ જણ (pAMch jaN)
Feminine -> પાંચ જણીઓ (pAMchjaNIo)
For number four onward it follows same pattern; i.e.
for masculine "number and then "જણ".
For feminine number and then "જણીઓ"

For neuter we use just number.

Fractional numbers

For two onward ‘quarter’ figure is said by prefixing સવા (savA)

The fractional number with decimal point.
The number “10.3” is generally said in English as “Ten point three”. Similarly we say in Gujarati. For point the word is દશાંશ (dashAMsh)
But in spoken Gujarati people generally use English word “point” itself.

10.5 -> દસ  દશાંશ પાંચ (das  dashAMsh pAMch)
           દસ  point પાંચ (das  "point" pAMch)

3.70 -> ત્રણ દશાંશ  સિત્તેર  (traN dashAMsh sitter )
           ત્રણ point સિત્તેર  (traN  "point" sitter )

Percentage in Gujarati

"percent" in English is ટકાTakA) in Gujarati.
11 % -> eleven percent ->અગિયાર ટકા  (agiyAr TakA )
20% -> twenty percent -> વીસ ટકા  (vIs TakA )
20.5% -> twenty point five percent ->વીસ point પાંચ ટકા  (vIs point pAMch TakA )

ટકાTakA)  is plural of word ટકો ( Tako). So we use it only for 1%
1% -> એક ટકો (ek Tako)

For numbers from 1 to 100 in Gujarati, refer

For numbers after 100 and higher numbers like thousand, million etc
