In English we use sentences like "I will make him work", "That joke made him laugh" etc.
So we use phrase here as "to make one do something".

Gujarati sentences are same as saying "I will get it done from someone". So In Gujarati we say it
āŠđું āŠĪેāŠĻી āŠŠાāŠļે āŠ•ાāŠŪ āŠ•āŠ°ાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩીāŠķ (huM tenI pAse kAm karAvaDAvIsh), āŠđું āŠĪેāŠĻી āŠŠાāŠļે āŠŽોāŠēાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩીāŠķ (huM tenI pAse bolAvaDAvIsh) etc.

Here we first change the verb stem by appending āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv)

Original verb stem+ āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv) = Verb stem to be used
āŠ•āŠ°  (kar) +  āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv) = āŠ•āŠ°ાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ  (karAvaDAv)
āŠđāŠļ (has) + āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv)  = āŠđāŠļાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (hasAvaDAv )

If beginning letter of verb has āŠ† (A) sound in it, then it is changed to āŠ…(a)
āŠšાāŠē (chAl) changed to āŠšāŠē(chal) + āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv)  = āŠšāŠēાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (chalAvaDAv  )
āŠŪાāŠ° (mAr) changed to āŠŪāŠ° (mar) + āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv)  = āŠŪāŠ°ાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ  (marAvaDAv  )

If verb stem is single letter and has has āŠ† (A) sound in it, then it is changed to āŠ…(a) and āŠ†(A)” of āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv) is also omitted
āŠ–ા (khA) changed to āŠ–(kh) + āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv)  = āŠ–āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ  (khavaDAv  )
āŠ—ા (gA) changed to āŠ—(g) + āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv)  = āŠ—āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ  (gavaDAv  )

In other irregular verb stems, starting “āŠ†(A)” of āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv)  is omitted
āŠŠી (pI) + āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv)  = āŠŠીāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (pIvaDAv)
āŠ§ો(dho) + āŠ†āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (AvaDAv)  = āŠ§ોāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ (dhovaDAv)

Needless to say, form of verb follows the general rules of sentence formation. i.e.
For present and future tense the form of  is as per subject i.e. āŠ•āŠ°્āŠĪા
For past tense it is as per object i.e. āŠ•āŠ°્āŠŪ

And we use proposition “-āŠĻી āŠŠાāŠļે” (nI pAse) through whom activity is actually done. Examples will make it clear.

Examples :-

I make him say the truth -> āŠđું āŠāŠĻી āŠŠાāŠļે āŠļāŠĪ્āŠŊ āŠŽોāŠēાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩું āŠ›ું (huM enI pAse saty bolAvaDAvuM ChuM)
I made him say the truth -> āŠŪેં āŠāŠĻી āŠŠાāŠļે āŠļāŠĪ્āŠŊ āŠŽોāŠēાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ્āŠŊું (meM enI pAse saty bolAvaDAvyuM)
I will make him say the truth ->  āŠđું āŠāŠĻી āŠŠાāŠļે āŠļāŠĪ્āŠŊ āŠŽોāŠēાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩીāŠķ (huM enI pAse saty bolAvaDAvIsh)

He made me work -> āŠĪેāŠĢે āŠŪાāŠ°ી āŠŠાāŠļે āŠ•ાāŠŪ āŠ•āŠ°ાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ્āŠŊું (teNe mArI pAse kAm karAvaDAvyuM)
He makes me work -> āŠĪે āŠŪાāŠ°ી āŠŠાāŠļે āŠ•ાāŠŪ āŠ•āŠ°ાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩે āŠ›ે (te mArI pAse kAm karAvaDAve Che)
He will make me work -> āŠĪે āŠŪાāŠ°ી āŠŠાāŠļે āŠ•ાāŠŪ āŠ•āŠ°ાāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩāŠķે (te mArI pAse kAm karAvaDAvashe)

Peter made Mary eat mango-> āŠŠીāŠŸāŠ°ે āŠŪેāŠ°ી āŠŠાāŠļે āŠ•ેāŠ°ી āŠ–āŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩી (pITare merI pAse kerI khavaDAvI )

They made us wash the one pot -> āŠĪેāŠŪāŠĢે āŠ…āŠŪાāŠ°ા āŠŠાāŠļે āŠāŠ• āŠĩાāŠļāŠĢ āŠ§ોāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ્āŠŊું (temaNe amArA pAse ek vAsaN dhovaDAvyuM)
They made us wash many pots -> āŠĪેāŠŪāŠĢે āŠ…āŠŪાāŠ°ા āŠŠાāŠļે āŠŽāŠđુ āŠĩાāŠļāŠĢ āŠ§ોāŠĩāŠĄાāŠĩ્āŠŊાં (temaNe amArA pAse bahu vAsaN dhovaDAvyAM )

Sentence formation with  āŠ…āŠ•āŠ°્āŠŪāŠ• (akarmak) verbs
Consider āŠ…āŠ•āŠ°્āŠŪāŠ• (akarmak) verbs e.g. to come, to go , to sit etc.
And consider sentences -> "I will get it gone by him"; "I will get it come by him"; "I will get it sat by him".  All these sound awkward.
So as you would have guessed such sentences can not be prepared in Gujarati in above way. So you will use alternate ways

I will make him go ->
I will try so that he will go ->
āŠđું āŠāŠĩો āŠŠ્āŠ°āŠŊāŠĪ્āŠĻ āŠ•āŠ°ીāŠķ āŠ•ે āŠ āŠœāŠķે (huM evo prayatn karIsh ke e jashe)

OR
I will do such a way, so that he will have to go  ->
āŠđું āŠāŠĩું āŠ•āŠ°ીāŠķ āŠ•ે āŠāŠĻે āŠœāŠĩું āŠŠāŠĄāŠķે  (huM evuM karIsh ke ene javuM paDashe)
etc.
