Aunty, How much is lady finger?	માસી, ભીંડા કેટલાના છે ? (mAsI, bhIMDA keTalAnA Che ?)
Five Rupees for a quarter kilogram	પાંચના અઢીસો (ગ્રૅમ) (pAMchanA aDhIso (gr~em))
What is cost of half k.g.	અડધા કિલોના કેટલા ? (aDadhA kilonA keTalA ?)
Ten for half	દસનાં અડધો કિલો. (dasanAM aDadho kilo.)
And cabbage?	અને કોબીના ? (ane kobInA ?)
Ten for quarter k.g. Eighteen for half k.g.	દસની અઢીસો, અઢારની અડધો કિલો. (dasanI aDhIso, aDhaaranI aDadho kilo.)
It is too expensive	બહુ મોંઘી છે. (bahu moMghI Che.)
Take ten rupees for half k.g.	દસની અડધો કિલો આપો. (dasanI aDadho kilo Apo.)
Cannot afford it madam	પોસાતું નથી બહેન. (posAtuM nathI bahen.)
Ok. Take fifteen for half k.g.	ભલે. પંદરને અડધો કિલો આપો. (bhale. paMdarane aDadho kilo Apo.)
Ok. Take it.	ભલે, લો. (bhale, lo.)
What else?	બીજું શું આપું ? (bIjuM shuM ApuM ?)
Do you have pumpkin?	કોળું છે? (koLuM Che?)
Yes, why not?	હા, છે. (hA, Che.)
Please show me	દેખાડો. (dekhAdo.)
It seems old(not fresh)	વાસી લાગે છે. (vAsI lAge Che.)
No. It is very fresh.	ના. એકદમ તાજું છે. (nA. ekadam tAjuM Che.)
Take it home. It will be a tasty vegetable.	ઘરે લઈ જાઓ. સારૂં શાક બનશે. (ghare laI jAo. sArUM shAk banashe.)
How much is lemon	લિંબુ કેટલાનાં ? (liMbu keTalAnAM ?)
Five for ten rupees	દસનાં પાંચ. (dasanAM pAMch.)
I want only two.	મારે બે જ જોઈએ છે. (mAre be j joIe Che.)
Give four rupees	ચાર રૂપિયા આપો. (chAr rUpiyA Apo.)
Take it	લો. (lo.)
What is total	કેટલા થયા ? (keTalA thayA ?)
Total is twenty	બધુંય મળીને વીસ. (badhuMy maLIne vIs.)
How come twenty	વીસ કઈ રીતે ? (vIs kaI rIte ?)
Those vegetables and lemons,  considering it all is twenty	શાકભાજીઓ અને લિંબુ; બધુંય મળીને વીસ થયા. (shAkabhAjIo ane liMbu; badhuMy maLIne vIs thayA.)
I don’t want lady fingers	મારે ભીંડા નથી જોઈતા. (mAre bhIMDA nathI joItA.)
Ok. It is twelve rupees	ભલે. બારા થયા. (bhale. bArA thayA.)
Now charge me just ten please.	હવે દસમાં આપો. (have dasamAM Apo.)
I do not have change	મારી પાસે પરચુરણ નથી. (mArI pAse parachuraN nathI.)
Its first sale of my day. So not saying “no”. Take it.	દિવસની પહેલી ખરીદી છે. એટલે ના નથી કહેતી. લઈ લો.  (divasanI pahelI kharIdI Che. eTale nA nathI kahetI. laI lo. )
Give me bag.	થેલી આપો. (thelI Apo.)
I did not bring bag.	હું થેલી નથી લાવી. (huM thelI nathI lAvI.)
Wait, I give you plastic bag	ઉભા રહો. હું પ્લેસ્ટિકની થેલી આપું છું. (ubhA raho. huM plesTikanI thelI ApuM ChuM.)
Take it.	લો. (lo.)
Its nice that you gave it.	તમે આપી એ બહું સારૂં થયું.  (tame ApI e bahuM sArUM thayuM. )
